MEET THE PRESENTER:  Kurt Kazanowski

Kurt Kazanowski is an experienced healthcare executive, speaker, author, and coach for hospice and home care organizations. A Detroit native, he received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mercy College of Detroit and a master’s degree from Wayne State University. Starting his career as a public health nurse, Kurt is now the VP of hospice and palliative care services for Morselife Health System in Florida. He is also an entrepreneur with experience owning personal care home health companies in the USA and Moscow, Russia. His books, A Son’s Journey: Taking Care of Mom and Dad and The Seven Pillars of Growth, have provided thousands of people and hundreds of organizations with new knowledge and support.

In 30 years as an executive leader, Kurt has led hospitals, hospices, and home care companies to deliver superior care and services. His skillset spans leadership and operations, strategy development, marketing and sales, referral growth and business development tactics, mergers and acquisitions, physician relations, forming strategic partnerships between hospices and hospitals, and functioning as a connector, facilitator, and networker.
